Nova 401(k) Associates is looking for several Quality Assurance Managers for our Defined Contribution Department. This position is designed exclusively to provide work product quality review without a client base. If you are located near one of our physical offices (currently Dallas, Houston and Scottsdale), the position will allow you to work a split schedule from home and from our office. If you are not near one of our physical offices, we will provide you with a home office setup including computer and phone so that you can serve your clients from your home office.

Nova 401(k) Associates is a vibrant and growing national third party, non-producing administration firm. We have a nationally recognized sales team allowing us to grow in excess of 20% per year providing advancement opportunities for our professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review work product prepared by team members, including annual trust accounting, ADP/ACP testing, 401(a)4 testing, 410(b) testing, 5500 form, contribution calculations and safe harbor compliance
  • Interpret plan documents/notices
  • Keep current with new regulations and legislation as well as an awareness of proposed regulations and legislation
  • Expand professional knowledge through seminars and self-study

Qualifications:
  • 10 or more years of experience in non-discrimination testing
  • Credentials with a nationally recognized organization (ASPPA or NIPA)
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code and Regulations
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Superior organizational and coordination skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability and ability to multi-task
  • High level of critical thinking
  • Coachable and committed to professional development
  • Knowledge of Corbel Documents, Pension Pro and ASC a plus
  • College degree
