Nova 401(k) Associates (www.nova401k.com) is one of the fastest growing TPA firms in the country, and we are looking to further expand our presence.

We provide consulting and pension administration services for all types of qualified retirement plans including: 401(k), 403(b), 457(b) and Cash Balance/Defined Benefit Plans. We proactively go out to the marketplace to target retirement plan advisors and some of the largest record-keepers in the industry in order to provide the best retirement plan services possible.

We are looking to add to the most dynamic TPA sales team in the country. We are looking for someone who lives in Kentucky, Ohio or southern Indiana.

If you have an interest in the responsibilities outlined below and meet some combination of the stated requirements, please consider joining our team. This is a full-time position for an energetic, self-motivated individual with a proven interest and aptitude in sales.

It is an entry level sales position for individuals either new to an area or new to retirement plan sales with a reduced commission schedule. The Business Development Specialist is eligible for promotion to Junior Retirement Plan Specialist upon achieving initial sales goals.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet with financial advisors and wholesalers
  • Meet  with prospective clients
  • Maintain an up‐to‐date calendar at all times
  • Prepare illustrations
  • Conduct on‐site broker seminars, not less frequently than bi‐monthly
  • Complete sold‐case paperwork for new clients
  • Assist in the transition of new clients
  • Enter broker information into Nova’s sales CRM system (Pipeline
  • Enter all opportunities into Nova’s sales CRM system (Pipeline) not less frequently than weekly
  • Provide a monthly status report due no later than the 5th business day of each

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong ability to build relationships and create partnerships
  • Highly analytical with the ability to be both strategic and tactical
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of retirement industry products and services for our respective market space is a plus

 

The position offers a competitive base salary with an ability to layer in incentive based compensation. Benefits package includes unlimited paid vacation, health, dental, and vision coverage, and a 401(k) Plan.
