Are you looking to work on the plans of the future? Are you interested in learning about MEPs/PEPs/GOPs? Nova 401(k) Associates is looking to fill several MEP/PEP Relationship Manager Positions. For highly qualified candidates, a signing bonus may apply! MEP or PEP experience is a plus, but we are willing to train individuals who have at least 5 years of plan administration experience. This is a client-facing position with no production work and minimal work product review. Our standard work day is 7.5 hours per day with very little overtime, even during the busy season. Our MEP Relationship Manager Position is supported by a strong testing/Form 5500 group, an implementation group, a plan document team, a special projects team and a loan and distribution department. Our Relationship Managers are organized into regional and functional teams with each team serving up to 750 employers. Teams work toward stated quarterly firm goals with special recognition given to individuals with exceptional performance. Each Team Leader schedules weekly calls to discuss upcoming deadlines and developments within Nova and the industry.
Nova 401(k) Associates is a vibrant and growing national third party, non-producing administration firm. We have a nationally recognized sales team allowing us to grow continually and provide advancement opportunities for our professionals. This position may be 100% remote for all qualified applicants. If you are located near one of our physical offices (currently Dallas, Houston and Scottsdale), you may choose to work 100% remotely or split time between our office and your home. Relocation packages are available for this posting upon request, but relocation is not required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain client and advisor relationships with a high active client retention rate
- Maintain a caseload of MEP adopters, approximately 50% split between ADP and Safe Harbor plans
- Manage and prioritize workload towards weekly goals in a results oriented team environment
- Exemplify superior client service and ability to consult with clients regarding plan operation and design
- Work with other Nova departments, record-keepers, and advisors to ensure a great client experience
- Perform work according to Nova policies and procedures
- Proactively communicate with MEP clients and investment advisors about new industry developments
- Occasional review ADP/ACP, other non-discrimination testing, Form 5500, and other government forms
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years 401(k) plan administration experience or ability to consult on plan administration
- Experience with pricing and billing a plus
- Familiarity with MEP service models and providers a plus
- Excellent knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing
- NIPA or ASPPA credentials
- College degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- High level of critical thinking
- Ability to multitask
