Working at Nova

In our model, most of the work product is produced by a defined benefit specialist for the actuary to review.  A consultant is the client’s primary point of contact with the actuary being available for escalation issues.  Our practice is focused on micro- and small plans.  We do not do GASB work or multi-employers plans.

Our primary software systems are: Penguin for DB/DC testing and valuation; Pension Pro for Workflow management, ASC for DC only administration and Forms 5500 and Relius plan documents.

The DB team meets once or twice weekly on MS Teams.  We have separate teams that handle distributions and plan documents.  We do very little work for other TPAs.
