We are looking to fill a Distribution Reviewer position. Candidates will be required to successfully complete the NIPA Distribution Administrator and Loan Administrator Certificates. The Distribution Reviewer will be expected to work normal business hours (7:30 am – 4:00 pm) Monday through Friday.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review of distribution and loan packages from start to finish, including vesting verifications
  • Review of Minimum Required Distributions packages at year end
  • Review of ADP/ACP refunds
  • Work on more complicated distributions such as QDROs, death benefits, disability benefits and Roth conversions as needed.
  • Consider cyber security issues  throughout review process
  • Thorough understanding and interpretation of plan documents regarding distributions and loans
  • Updates account managers, management, and plan sponsors as necessary on requests and progress
  • Help with training of new distribution specialists
  • Pursue and attain NIPA’s Distribution Administrator and Loan Administrator certificates
  • Performs other related duties as required

 

Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of experience with loans and distributions
  • QKA Designation a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including telephone communications, office systems and record keeping
  • Working knowledge or ability to quickly grasp concepts of reading, reviewing and understanding plan documents
  • Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of letters, memorandum, minutes and reports
  • Skill to use a personal computer and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
  • Superior organizational and coordination skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability and ability to multi-task
